Body Contouring
EMS Sculpture Body Contouring
EMS Sculpture has revolutionised body contouring treatments, and many patients choose to use this procedure alongside their usual healthy and active lifestyle.
A balanced diet is just one part of a regime to help the body stay healthy and in good shape. However, we often need to combine this with regular exercise to maintain a figure that also looks lean and toned. For many people, diet and fitness have the desired effect, but many others find that a little more effort seems required to reach their goal, which is often difficult to achieve.
The EMS Sculpture treatment can make this seemingly unreachable goal possible by providing the body with an effortless supramaximal intense muscular workout. It combines radiofrequency and non-invasive HIFEM (High-Intensity Focused Electro-Magnetic) energy, which work together to build muscle and burn fat. When the device is placed on the chosen area, it stimulates the muscles, causing them to contract at a rate not achieved by the usual exercise. The energy pulses can stimulate up to 20,000-30,000 muscle contractions. It is this intensity that helps the body also to metabolise and burn any excess fatty tissue.
The EMS Sculpture gives the body a workout that can’t be accomplished on its own, with the results achieved in one 30-minute session similar to those seen in a 6-12 week exercise programme. We often recommend a series of 8 treatments once or twice per week to achieve maximum results, when the body will have increased its muscle mass by around 16%, with an approximate fat loss reduction of up to 19%, 4 cm waist circumference loss and five times increased fat metabolism only in 2-4 weeks post-treatment.
EMS Sculpture can be used on areas such as the stomach, buttocks and thighs, producing little to no downtime.

Frequently Asked Questions
EMS Sculpture has produced excellent results for people who experience small pockets of excess fat and wish to support their usually healthy and active lifestyle. Both men and women have been delighted by the outcome, as their body looks leaner and more toned.
While the machine is working, you may feel the muscles contracting. This is not designed to be painful; your practitioner can select the right intensity for your body. If the treatment starts to cause discomfort, you should tell your practitioner immediately.
They will naturally tear and repair themselves when you exercise to build muscle. This process is normal and may cause Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness, which is also expected but may mean the muscles feel slightly tender and stiff. This lasts only a few days and should not disrupt your everyday routine.
If you experience some muscle soreness, it might be advisable to take it easy until they feel normal. Although this doesn’t equate to significant downtime, it will help to ensure the muscles do not become damaged.
The number of treatment sessions you need will depend on your circumstances. Many patients achieve excellent results after one session and often don’t feel the need for a repeat procedure for many months. Maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle will help the outcome last longer.
EMS Sculpture must be combined with increased activity and a reduction in the intake of calories. In addition, it may be combined with other treatments such as HIFU, fat freezing, Ultrasonic Cavitation, fat melting mesotherapy, shockwave and Endormology treatment.
